Quick verdict

This is not a swap and treating it as one will waste your time. Claude generates no images, and nothing in a prompt changes that, so if pictures are what you came for you need a second tool regardless of how good the first one is. What Claude is good at is the half most creators under-invest in: the script, the hook, the title, and an honest critique of a thumbnail you already made. Keep it for that. Send the picture half to something that generates, at $0.10 to $0.20 an image with the ratios already set. Two tools, one clean handoff, no overlap to argue about.

Choose Leaxor if you want…

  • Generates images, which Claude has no capability to do at any tier
  • Forty-seven engines at $0.10 to $0.20 each, chosen per job
  • Native 16:9 and 9:16 output at the sizes YouTube and Shorts use
  • Turns a script or topic into a narrated, captioned 9:16 video for $1.50 to $9
  • A consistent character across every scene, thumbnail and banner
  • Pairs cleanly with a text tool rather than competing with one

Choose Claude if…

  • Genuinely strong at long-form scripts, structure and tightening a draft
  • Reads and critiques images you already have, which is a useful feedback loop
  • Flags uncertainty in its own claims better than most, which matters if you publish
  • Writes SVG and chart code, so diagrams-as-text are well covered
  • Does the half of a faceless channel that no image tool touches

Leaxor vs Claude — FAQ

Can Claude generate images?+

No. Claude has no image generation capability at any tier or price. It can read and analyse images you upload, and it can write SVG or chart code that renders as a graphic, but it cannot produce a photograph, illustration or thumbnail from a description. There is no setting or prompt that changes this.

What should I use for images if I use Claude for writing?+

Any dedicated image tool. Leaxor runs forty-seven models at $0.10 to $0.20 an image with native 16:9 and 9:16 output, which suits thumbnails and Shorts stills. The pairing works well because there is no overlap to reconcile: one tool writes, the other draws.

Can Claude make a YouTube thumbnail?+

It can write you a brief for one, suggest twenty concepts, and critique a thumbnail you paste in. It cannot produce the image. For a thumbnail with readable text baked in, Ideogram v3 at 2 credits is the model built for that job.

Is Claude better than ChatGPT for scripts?+

That is a preference question and I would not push a strong claim either way. What matters for this page is that neither of those choices affects the image half, because Claude generates nothing and ChatGPT's image generation gives you one model with no per-image price. The writing decision and the picture decision are independent.

How much does an image cost on Leaxor?+

Between $0.10 and $0.30 depending on the model, at ten cents a credit. Flux 2 Pro, Seedream 4.5 and 37 other models are 1 credit; Nano Banana Pro, Ideogram v3 and Hunyuan Image 3 are 2 credits; GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2 and 3 other models are 3 credits. Minimum purchase is $5 and credits never expire.

What was actually tested for this page?+

On 20 August 2026 I ran one 16:9 thumbnail prompt with in-image text through six Leaxor models, twice each, and kept both the timings and the images. That measured the Leaxor side only. Claude was not benchmarked because there is nothing on the image side to benchmark.
