Claude cannot generate images. Not badly, not with limits, not behind a paywall. It has no image generation capability, and if you are here because you were hoping to find a workaround, the honest answer is that there is not one and you should stop looking for it. What Claude does with images is read them. Give it a screenshot and it will tell you what is in it, transcribe the text, spot the problem in your chart. What Claude Is Actually Built For
Text, and specifically long, careful text where being wrong matters. That is the whole product and it is unusually well aimed.
For a channel, the practical value shows up before any picture exists. A script is the part of a faceless video that determines whether anyone watches past four seconds, and it is also the part most creators rush because it feels like admin next to the visual work. Claude is genuinely good at the unglamorous version of that job: taking a topic you half understand, structuring it, cutting the throat-clearing from the opening, and telling you when a claim in your draft needs a source. It is also good at the thing where you paste in a script that is three hundred words too long and ask what to lose.
It reads images, which people sometimes mistake for generating them. You can hand it a thumbnail and ask why it looks cluttered, or paste a competitor's frame and ask what is drawing the eye. That is a useful critique loop, and it is worth knowing you have it, because the feedback is more specific than most people expect. What comes back is words about a picture, never a picture.
It also writes code, which produces the closest thing to an exception. Ask for an SVG diagram or a chart and you will get one, because that is a text file that happens to render. For a flowchart or a data visualisation that is a real answer. For a photorealistic thumbnail of a person looking shocked, it is not, and no amount of prompting turns a code model into a diffusion model.

Worth naming the failure mode, because I fell into it for about a week. The Verdict
This is not a swap and treating it as one will waste your time. Claude generates no images, and nothing in a prompt changes that, so if pictures are what you came for you need a second tool regardless of how good the first one is. What Claude is good at is the half most creators under-invest in: the script, the hook, the title, and an honest critique of a thumbnail you already made. Keep it for that. Can Claude generate images?+
No. Claude has no image generation capability at any tier or price.
