01 Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our Service. Here's what we gather:

Account Data
Name, email address, and profile picture via Google OAuth
Usage Data
Prompts submitted, videos generated, features used, and timestamps
Payment Data
Billing details processed securely by our payment provider — we never store card numbers
Device Data
Browser type, IP address, device type, and referring URL

02 How We Use Your Information

03 Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited cases:

  • •Service providers — Payment processors, cloud hosting, and AI model providers that help us operate
  • •Legal requirements — When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
  • •Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

04 AI-Generated Content

Your text prompts are sent to third-party AI services (including OpenAI and ElevenLabs) to generate scripts, images, animations, and voiceovers. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your prompts to train our own models without your explicit consent.

05 Images you upload to the free tools

The image tools at /tools accept a file from you, and they do not all treat it the same way. Which one you are using decides what happens to your photo, so both answers are set out here rather than averaged into one.

Tools that run in your browser

The resizer, cropper, converter, compressor, collage maker and the two HEIC converters run entirely on your own device. Your file is read and written inside the browser tab and is never uploaded — not to us, not to anyone else. No copy is ever made, so there is nothing to delete; closing the tab is the whole of it.

Tools that use AI

Some tools need a model that cannot run in a browser — the background remover is one, and any tool of that kind says so on its own page. These send your image to our processing provider, fal.ai, which returns the edited result. We keep no copy of either one: nothing is written to storage and no record of the image is created, so there is nothing on our side to delete or to hand over. The result passes straight through to your download and is discarded. fal handles what it receives under its own privacy policy.

What we do record

One thing is recorded, and it is not your image. So that the daily free allowance works, we keep a count of how many tool runs came from your connection today, filed under a salted one-way hash of your IP address. The date is part of what is hashed, so today's count cannot be linked to yesterday's, and the record holds nothing about the file you used.

06 Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication (OAuth 2.0), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your information.

07 Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Generated videos stay in your library until you delete them or close your account. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Images uploaded to the free image tools are not retained at all, and the tool-usage counts described in section 05 are kept only for the day they belong to.

08 Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or sell cookie data. Analytics, if any, are privacy-respecting and anonymized.

09 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • •Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • •Request correction of inaccurate data
  • •Request deletion of your personal data
  • •Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • •Data portability — receive your data in a structured format

10Children's Privacy

Leaxor is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
