Are AI videos allowed on TikTok?

Yes. TikTok permits AI-generated content and requires it to be labelled when it is realistic.

The rule is close to YouTube's but applied more aggressively: TikTok requires the AI-generated label on content depicting realistic scenes or people, and it auto-detects and labels a good deal of AI content whether or not you declare it.

Prohibited outright: synthetic media of private individuals, and of public figures used for endorsement or political content. That is stricter than YouTube's position.

Animation and clearly stylised content — including illustrated explainer video — are not realistic depiction, so the label does not apply.

One practical difference from YouTube: TikTok's Creator Rewards Programme requires videos over one minute, which changes the length calculus if TikTok monetisation is part of your plan.
