How many Shorts should I post a day?

One a day is the level where most channels see compounding. Below roughly three a week, the feed doesn't build a picture of what your channel is.

More than one a day helps less than people expect and can hurt. Multiple uploads compete with each other in the same feed window, and a channel posting five mediocre Shorts daily trains the algorithm on its average rather than its best.

The honest constraint is usually quality per upload, not upload count. If going from one to three a day means each is written in a third of the time, that trade generally loses.

Where production speed genuinely helps is consistency rather than volume — being able to publish daily during a busy week is worth more than being able to publish five times on a quiet one.
