Can you use an AI voice on YouTube?

Yes. Synthetic narration is permitted and monetisable, and a large share of faceless channels use it.

Two things do cause problems. Cloning a real person's voice without permission runs into both YouTube policy and, in several jurisdictions, publicity rights. And narration laid over content with no original contribution fails the reused-content review — though that is the content failing, not the voice.

Voice quality matters more for retention than for policy. Flat, obviously robotic delivery loses viewers in the opening seconds, which is a performance problem rather than a compliance one.
