What is the cheapest way to make AI videos at volume?

Compare cost per finished video, not the sticker price. A $15/month plan that produces raw clips still needs narration, captions and an editor's time before anything is publishable.

At around 20 videos a month, the realistic picture is roughly this. A clip generator plus separate voice and caption tools lands near $50–80/month in software, plus several hours per video in assembly. A pipeline tool that outputs finished videos costs more per unit but almost nothing in time — Leaxor's Affordable tier is 15 credits, or $1.50 per finished video, so 20 videos is $30 with no editing step.

The genuinely cheapest option is free tools and manual work: a script you wrote, stock footage, free TTS and CapCut. It costs no money and roughly 2–4 hours per video. For a lot of people starting out that is the right trade.

The trap worth naming is buying an annual plan for a channel you haven't validated. Per-video pricing costs more per unit and far less when a niche doesn't work out.
